The children have opportunities to play with ideas in different situations with a rich variety of resources enhancing their ability to think creatively, critically and ask questions, developing self-identity and self-esteem, within the Twinkletoes Pre-school community.

FUNDING FOR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLD'S - 15 hours funded hours (5 free sessions) All 3 and 4 year old children are entitled to fifteen funded hours a week. That's 5 funded sessions regardless of income or circumstances. We will supply the form to complete in order to qualify for the funding. FUNDING FOR 2 YEAR OLD'S - Some 2 year old children may also be eligible for funding if the family is in receipt of certain benefits or have been sent a Golden Ticket from Suffolk County Council. Some 2 year old's may also be eligible based on non-economic criteria. Please use the government's 'online checker' to find out if you can get free childcare for your 2 year old. STAYING FOR LUNCH - We pause for lunch in between the morning and afternoon sessions and if you want your child to stay for lunch, this can be included in the funded hours. The children are required to bring their own healthy packed lunch (no nuts please). EARLY YEARS PUPIL PREMIUM (EYPP) - The Early Years Pupil Premium is additional funding from the Government for Early Years Settings to improve the quality of education we provide for disadvantaged 3 and 4 year old's. The aim of the EYPP is to help close the gap between children from disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers. The funding is paid directly to the Setting so that we can provide more opportunities for your children at Pre-school. To be eligible for this extra funding your child must be receiving a funded Pre-school place.
